Get a library card or bar code – You will need to register with a library staff member during regular office hours (weekdays, 8:00am – 4:30pm). Please have a driver’s license or other form of identification available.
Find a book – You may search for a book in the library catalog by keyword, author, title, subject, ISBN and other ways. To get the call number, simply click on the title. If Sacred Heart owns an item, you will see us in the list of holding libraries. If Sacred Heart does not own the item, you may request it by clicking on “Place Hold” in the box on the right of the screen.
Find a CD or DVD – You may search for a CD or DVD in the library catalog by keyword, author, title, or subject.
These items can be checked out in the same way as library books.
Borrow a laptop, Kindle, digital voice recorder, or digital video camera – This equipment may be borrowed for 5 days from the library offices. Please see a librarian for assistance. Each laptop has standard Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), along with software to use in classrooms with wireless projectors.
