Requests / Hold an Item / Recalls

Patrons may request items from the collection that are currently in use by another patron.  You may place a hold on an item through TOPCAT, or through a member of the library staff.  When that item is returned to the library, you will be notified by an email. You may pick up your request in the library offices. Items are held in the offices for 10 days.

If a requested item is checked out, it can be recalled when the initial loan period is over. Items needed for course reserves can be recalled before the initial loan period is over.

Hold may not be placed on course reserve items.
